Before using the steamer, be sure to check the garment labels for ironing compatibility. Exercise caution when steaming delicate fabrics such as wool, silk, chiffon, and velvet – it is recommended to steam these from the underside without the brush attachment. Avoid steaming waxed jackets, suede, materials that can melt (e.g., plastic or leather), and dry-clean-only items.
